He’s long been lighting up our screens as the star of Sherlock, and now Benedict Cumberbatch is fast becoming a fixture in the sports circuit too.

The handsome actor, 39, enjoyed an off-duty day as he watched England’s 25-21 win against Wales on Saturday.

Benedict looked cosy in a smart peacoat jacket as he joined a star-studded line-up of supporters Twickenham, and even caught the eye of Prince Harry, who seemed to gesture at him jovially during the match.

England outplayed Wales to secure a 25-21 win against their Welsh rivals.

Wales proved worthy opponents during the gripping game, but England managed to hold on following late tries from Toby Faletau and George North to earn a deserved victory.

In the end, England won courtesy of a marauding display by 21-year-old Maro Itoje and a flawless kick from Owen Farrell.
